From Rockhampton to Rydges Capricorn Resort
Transfers The Resort offers a Shuttle service to and from the Rockhampton Airport. Return adult transfers are $20.00 per person and children are $10.00 per person, These transfers need to be booked when you register for the conference and book your accommodation.
By Car Hire Cars Hire Cars are available for pick up from Rockhampton Airport. Please contact the invidual car hire companies for further details;
Directions From Rockhampton Airport, travel north through town along the Bruce Highway, over the Fitzroy River, and when you see Stockland Rockhampton turn left. On the outskirts of Rockhampton, turn left at Yeppoon Road. Rockhampton to Yeppoon is approximately 35km. Once you arrive into Yeppoon you will come to a large roundabout, take the second left off the roundabout continuing along Yeppoon Road. Follow the road until you come to a second roundabout and take the first left off this roundabout, you will be travelling along Appleton Drive. Continue along this road until you reach the bechfront. Appleton Drive will become Anzac Parade. Anzac Parade will take you left and you will have the beach on your right. Continue along Anzac Parade and through the roundabout, once you pass through the roundabout you will be on Farnborough Road. Continue along Fanborough Road for approximately 4 kilometres until you come to another large roundabout with an exit to Rydges Capricorn Resort. Contiue on this exit and you will see the entrance to the Resort (approximately 5 kilometres).
